Grammar – Four types of sentences

There are four types of sentences: –

A statement                A command                A question                 An exclamation

Here is how to end each one : –

A statement = full stop/period  (   .   )

A command =  full stop/period  (   .   )

A question = a question mark (   ?   )

An exclamation = an exclamation mark (   !   )

Here are some examples. Can you tell which type of sentence it is? Can you use the correct punctuation mark?

  1. I need something sweet
  2. How about ice cream
  3. What kind of ice cream
  4. Any kind you want
  5. Can I have chocolate ice cream
  6. Sure
  7. OK, let’s go
  8. Bring me my car keys while I put on my shoes
